Pull-ups can be performed just about anywhere and one of the quickest ways to improve is by helping each other with this routine:
Each person performs 1 pull-up immediately followed by performing 2 pull-ups, then 3 consecutive pull-ups, then 4 consecutive pull-ups, and finally 5 consecutive pull-ups before beginning the descent… 4, then 3, then 2, then 1 rep.
By the end of this Pull-Up Pyramid, you will each complete 25 pull-ups in total!
The “couples fitness” piece comes in by literally supporting your partner. Your partner can give you assistance by placing their arms under your bent knees and slightly lifting you so that you are still doing the work to pull yourself up.
