Busy… busy… busy… 9 times out of 10 this is the answer I get when I ask my friends, family, and clients how they have been.
Family, work, school, keeping up with the house, the yard, your social life, relationships, and your health is a very long list of high priorities. And that doesn’t even include the curve balls life invariably throws at you.
Making time to take care of yourself becomes even harder but it also becomes even more important. We need to take care of ourselves in order to have the energy to knock out that long list of to-do’s and to manage the stress associated with such pressures.
Top 3 Excuses
Time:

- The resistance training takes 37 minutes or less 3 days per week
- The cardio recommendations are 2 days of HIIT (25 minutes or less) and 1 day of steady cardio (40 minutes and can be something like riding a bike with your kids!)
- The nutritional guidance is to eat REAL, CLEAN food and includes a 30-day meal plan with simple, quick recipes that your whole family will eat.
Energy:
“Against all odds. Up at 0400 (4:00 am) and out the door to work just to find out I’m staying late. Got home at 1840 (6:40 pm) and still found an ounce of ‘workout want’. Just got done with strength training. Happy with my 53 mountain climbers on first round. Gotta get back up to 85 I was doing before knee surgery. And yes that’s every other foot count. Also pre-washed and prepped fruits and veggies Saturday. Pre-washed with 1 part distilled vinegar and 10 part water. Worked well.
