Single Arm Burpee
Description
Stand with feet slightly wider than hip-width, left arm out to side at shoulder height.
Squat down; place right hand on floor just under center of chest. Squeeze abs and jump feet back into one-arm plank. Jump back toward hands, landing in a squat.
Jump up; return to start.
Why I Love This Move!
The single arm burpee is fun for a number of reasons:
- I feel like a badass when I do it…it kinda feels like a dance move to me!
- Single side move = helps develop strength and balance on both sides
- Functional, improves strength
- Burns fat
- Great way to develop abs
Why/When I Use This Move
I love to throw this move in between sets of weights or as a part of a giant set to get my heart rate up.
I also create HITT routines with this move.
