Single Arm Burpee

Description

Stand with feet slightly wider than hip-width, left arm out to side at shoulder height.

Squat down; place right hand on floor just under center of chest. Squeeze abs and jump feet back into one-arm plank. Jump back toward hands, landing in a squat.

Jump up; return to start.

Why I Love This Move!

The single arm burpee is fun for a number of reasons:

  • I feel like a badass when I do it…it kinda feels like a dance move to me!
  • Single side move = helps develop strength and balance on both sides
  • Functional, improves strength
  • Burns fat
  • Great way to develop abs

Why/When I Use This Move

I love to throw this move in between sets of weights or as a part of a giant set to get my heart rate up.
