Who needs to wait until fall to enjoy a pumpkin protein shake? Not me! Try the delicious, creamy goodness of my Rockin’ Punkin’ Protein Shake. This tasty treat may closely resemble a milk shake, but don’t be fooled… you are consuming a highly nutritious, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
~10 small ice cubes (fill ½ of Magic Bullet blender cup)
1 c. cold water (fill Magic Bullet blender cup to 2/3)
¼ – ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
Cinnamon or liquid cinnamon flavor (to taste)
Pumpkin Pie Spice (to taste)
1 scoop vanilla IsaPro powder
1 scoop vanilla IsaLean powder (for additional calories and creamy goodness, add a second scoop)
Directions
Add all ingredients to Magic Bullet blender cup.
Blend until shake consistency. I love to make mine so thick and creamy that I have to eat it with a spoon. Yum!Please note IsaPro and IsaLean contain no artificial sweeteners and provide the creamy consistency in shakes. This is an excellent gluten free shake!
**************RECIPE VARIATION*********************
This recommendation was given to us by one of our SKFitLife Challengers, Tiffany:
- 3-4 cups of ice
- 2 cups vanilla almond milk (use less if you want more of an ice cream consistency)
- 2 scoops vanilla protein powder.
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- cinnamon and nutmeg (I probably used about a tsp of nutmeg and 2 tsp of cinnamon)
- 3 pkgs stivia
- 2 cups pumpkin
Mix until well blended. I split it up into 3 shakes so it was 133 calories each. Tasted like pumpkin pie.
